Okay, so Dallas and Boston have no need for Skinner. I don't see Tampa Bay going after Simmonds. SJS doesn't really have a great chance at getting EK.

Why do you think Toronto wants Simmonds? Look at their forward lineup. I can't see why they'd want him. Simmonds isn't gonna be moved anyway ...

Every year, it's supposed to be 'busier than most years' and it never is. Trades are almost done for the offseason. Not completely done, but mostly.

Flyers would be stupid to trade Simmonds for anything other than a goalie upgrade. They are a good team that should be considered contenders but you really dont know what your going to get with their goalies. Neuvirth has been good but guy is made out of the same material as dipietro. Elliot was also fairly good in his first yearbut was in no shape to be playing in the playoffs after core muscle surgery.

It be nice to go into a season confident about our goaltending. Offensively they should be a powerhouse and defensively they dhould be better as well with younger guys gaining valuable experience

I think it would be foolish to trade Simmonds for a goalie. They have Hart in the near future and Lyon/Stolarz seem to be nice backups.

Flyers are not a contender nor even considered.

Toronto...makes zero sense, cap wise and assets they would need to get Simmonds. Plus he would walk at the end of the year.

Tampa...need to dump salary in trade or another trade. Point and Sergachev are unavailable, pretty much discussions ends. No need for Callahan unless someone of value is added, maybe Foote. TB has no 1st rounder to trade this year.

Edmonton...could happen. Pretty much same boat as Tampa. Need to swap cap space in trade. I can't see them letting RNH go if they are adding Simmonds. Luccic *throws up* would be a no question unprotected 1st just to take him then add the value of Simmonds.

I see none of them making sense.
